This makes the cooperative a rare bridge between two neighbouring regions that are usually treated as entirely separate worlds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe headquarters are housed at the Château du Bois de la Salle in Juliénas, a former sixteenth-century priory surrounded by vines. The cooperative is now an important custodian of the local landscape, particularly in Juliénas, where its members account for a significant proportion of the appellation.
