A Masterclass in Champagne // Friday 1st July 2022

A masterclass with a master...
Join us on the 1st July for a masterclass in Champagne. Hosted by our friend, Nick Adams, MW, this will be an opportunity to taste some outstanding examples of Champagne, from small grower producers to famous grand marques, all alongside a Master of Wine.
We'll be tasting a variety of wines that demonstrate the most important styles coming from Champagne. From the everyday (yeah, right...) to fine, mature examples of classic Champagnes.
If you're not instantly familiar with Nick's post-nominals, MW stands for 'Master of Wine', indicating that Nick is one of less than 500 MW's globally. You can read more about what being an MW means, here and you can read more about Nick and his CV, here. We love working with Nick. His presenting style is fun and unfussy, and we can guarantee that you will leave a tasting having not only had a huge amount of fun, but having learnt a great deal. The perfect evening? We think so!
Paired with some snacks from our mates at Woosters Bakery (and others) and great company - this is not one to miss! Just 12 spaces available.
Friday 1st July
7pm - 9:30pm(ish)
27 Hatter Street
Bury St Edmunds
Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
Cancellations require a 48 hour notice period otherwise you will be charged, unless we can resell your ticket ahead of the event.
We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
