Bordeaux VS Burgundy // Friday 1st November 2024 // VG Tasting Room
- In stock, ready to ship
- Backordered, shipping soon
We all know France consistently takes the lead at the top of the global 'wine chain', and for good reason. We’re only a little bit jealous but honestly, they really know good wine over there. There are literally hundreds of appellations throughout the nation of France, most of which you might know of, but there are two that stand out among the rest: Bordeaux and Burgundy.
But, let's just get one thing straight. Both Bordeaux and Burgundy produce absolutely outstanding wines and equally deserve a place at the top of the global list, but which do you really prefer? Don't worry, you can be honest - what happens in the tasting room, stays in the tasting room!
Hosted by Evelyn of team VG, this will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine. We just can't promise not to get too emotional about the outstanding bottles!

- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor bathroom and tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
