For over two years now, we've been pushing bottles and popping corks at Vino HQ. We have always been extremely proud of our evolving list of stupendously good glug from every corner of the globe.
We work with many of the UK's best specialist importers and directly with small, family owned producers to source and serve juice that we passionately love, and that we feel represent what we care about in wine. Above all, that is deliciousness, but also the story, history, culture, geography, geology and beautiful people behind the bottle. As we say, they're "All Killers, No Fillers".
Tonight's tasting is all about this. We'll be tasting through our new Everyday Killer wine section - a shelf that was recently introduced to VG. While we won't be tasting all 54 lines from this shelf (sorry) we will be using the evening to showcase our favourites and help you discover daily delicious that doesn't break the bank!
This tasting will be led by Evelyn, our Shop Manager, on the ground floor of the Shop.
Please note, this is not a formal, sit down tasting. It will be a fun, casual tasting on our shop floor in walk-around style with decent pours! There are a few stools to perch on, of course and we'll have some nibbles in the way of charcuterie boards to keep your palate nice and awake!
- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor bathroom and tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
