A classic Burgundy with aromas of redcurrant, strawberries and dried rose petals. A maturation in neutral oak gives it a wonderful sense of transparency and supple, velvety tannins.
The name François de Nicolay commands a great deal of respect
in Burgundy. Currently managing the Chandon des Briailles estate with his sister Claude, François can put his name on some of the finest wines to be found in the Côte D’Or. To boot, he is a pioneer of sustainability in the region, being the first to use alternative treatments such as milk to treat powdery mildew. Recently Nicolas began his own négoce project, which sources organic and biodynamic fruit from trusted and reputable growers.

NATIONAL DELIVERY
UK Mainland (England, Wales, Scottish Borders & Central Scotland)
Orders must be placed before 12pm for next day delivery (Monday - Thursday). Orders placed before 12pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday and before 12pm on Monday will be delivered on Tuesday.
To order wine for national delivery, we have a minimum order requirement of £20.

Orders up to £98.99 - £8 (per case).
You will receive an automated confirmation on ordering. It is unavoidable that wines will sometimes be out of stock, so we will always contact you to advise a delivery estimate in this case. If you need the wine for a particular date, or before a particular date please make sure you specify this.
Deliveries are normally made weekdays before 4pm. Unsuccessful deliveries will be attempted the next working day if nobody is available to accept the delivery, unless you specify a place to leave the shipment in this case.
If a request is made for wine to be left unattended, Vino Gusto will not be held responsible if the wine goes missing after the courier has delivered it. If a delivery has not arrived in the timeframe, please let us know. Although the courier should tell us if there are any breakages, please let us know of any damage within 24 hours of receipt, so we can investigate. Please also be sure to check the number of cases for which you are signing; we cannot replace wine that has been signed for but not received.
We do not deliver wine internationally. Please note that we, regretfully, are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
