Fruitière Vinicole D'Arbois, Côtes Du Jura Rouge, France, 2018Regular price £16.50
A simply delicious blend of Trousseau, Pinot Noir and Poulsard that is light, bright and über fresh. Beautifully red fruited with some subtle spice. Very classic of the Jura and a wonderful value alternative to more expensive, Pinot based wines from the rest of France! If you ever meet us at a BBQ, this is what we'll be sharing around.
Established in 1906 and claiming to be the oldest co-operative in France, the Arbois Fruitière has played a significant role in the history and development of modern Jura wines. Since its founding, its members fought hard to protect the good name of Arbois, with their work being rewarded in 1936 when Arbois became one of the first of the new appellations to be born. With a combination of ancient and modern cellars, the wines have been an extremely reliable source of Jura wines for over ten decades now.
