We don't often sing about Pinot Grigio like you'll find we do with this one. This is Pinot G with a punch. Nicely juicy and tropical, this wine is bright, clean and zippy. Loaded with apricot and white peach with a subtle, herbal something something going on. This is a brilliant summer white - you'll find us with a bottle or two on the terrace.
Established in 2010 by Alejandro Bulgheroni, Pacheco Pereda (a reference to migrant farming families who arrived in Argentina in the 20th century) is one of Argentina's largest organic-certified vineyard holdings. The vineyards are located in the Luján de Cuyo region, split between Finca Alto Agrelo (980-1200 metres above sea level) and Finca Pedemonte (740 metres above sea level). In 2010, the team carried out extensive soil-mapping, digging five hundred soil pits to better understand the various soil textures and soil drainage capacity. As a result of these findings, the vineyards were split into 74 individual parcels, to which varietals were matched. Renowned wine consultant Alberto Antonini has employed a similarly thorough approach in the winery, working alongside winemaker Hernan Rinaldini.
