This rosé is bone dry, delicate and fresh, loaded with crushed cranberries, cherry and peach flavours. Ever so slightly effervescent with plenty of acidity giving a tingling, mouth watering sensation.
Winemaker and owner of Res Fortes, Moritz Bak, found his love of wine at a young age, visiting his Grandfather (a keen consumer, we are told) in the south of France. Having then travelled extensively and worked as a winemaker at some pretty famous addresses, Moritz settled on Roussillon to begin his own winemaking venture in 2014 making modern, elegant wines from the toughest terrain.
We genuinely love all of Bak's wines, but have a soft spot for this rosé... There aren't many things we'd chose to drink over this on a glorious Summer's day. And no need to take our word for it - Wine Enthusiast list it as a 'best buy'.
The grapes are grown in the rugged landscape of the foothills of the Pyrenees in south west France. The vineyards have mineral rich schist soils and long established vines. The wine is comprised of 50% Grenache Noir, 30% Syrah, 20% Grenache Gris.
Have more than one bottle at the ready. To help you stock up with the good stuff, use discount code "RESFORTES" and get 10% off a case of six of these beauts when you add six bottles to your basket, or show us the code in store.

You will receive an automated confirmation on ordering. It is unavoidable that wines will sometimes be out of stock, so we will always contact you to advise a delivery estimate in this case. Deliveries are normally made weekdays before 4pm. Unsuccessful deliveries will be attempted the next working day if nobody is available to accept the delivery, unless you specify a place to leave the shipment in this case. If a request is made for wine to be left unattended, Vino Gusto will not be held responsible if the wine goes missing after the courier has delivered it. If a delivery has not arrived in the timeframe, please let us know. Although the courier should tell us if there are any breakages, please let us know of any damage within 24 hours of receipt, so we can investigate.
Please also be sure to check the number of cases for which you are signing; we cannot replace wine that has been signed for but not received.
Please note that we, regretfully, are currently unable to ship to Northern Ireland.
