Saffa Sessions #6: Loire meets the Cape // Wednesday 16th July 2025 // VG Tasting Room
- Available
- Backordered, shipping soon
Welcome to the sixth instalment in a series of Saffa Sessions, hosted by our very own Cape Crusader, John Khayser.
Many regulars of Vino Towers will know that John has a bit of a bias towards wines of the Western Cape. Tonight is no different. Guided by JK's expertise and passion, you'll explore wines from the Cape inspired by the French Loire Valley.
No need to have been to the previous Saffa Sessions, each tasting is one of a kind but always guaranteed to be hosted by our South African shop legend John.
This will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles in the form of legendary snack boards provided by Julie of Workhorse Bakery to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
