When we first released our cheese & wine evenings in collaboration with Nic Walker at Walkers Cheese over a year ago at casa VG, they proved to be very popular. Having had some time away, we're so pleased to bring back our famous cheese & wine tasting evenings with Nic Walker...

Join us on Thursday 7th December for an indulgent evening of outstanding cheese and wine, presented by team VG in collaboration with Nic Walker. Many locals will be familiar with Nic as the town's indie cheese monger until late 2022. Above all, Nic is a foodie. A proper foodie. Chef turned cheesemaker, turned cheesemonger, turned cheese judge... We'll explore a taste of six incredible artisan cheeses from Britain & Europe and naturally we'll be using this as an excuse to pop some delicious bottles to compliment Nic's picks. You will learn a bit, laugh a bit and enjoy immensely.

Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. We'll do our best to accommodate. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.

No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine). 

Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.

Tickets are non-refundable.

We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
