There's no doubt that the best things in life are arguably wine and chocolate; though not always paired together. This evening we will change that.
Join us, with our friends Wood Row Chocolate, as we taste a variety of their carefully crafted, edible works of art and taste an outrageously good line up of wines. Through six or so pairings, we will be taking your taste buds on a journey of flavours - nothing pretentious, just simple flavours executed well!
Wood Row Chocolate, like us, were born out of lockdown and worked with Evelyn from VG for 8 years at The Leaping Hare. Together they've been through all of the highs and lows of hospitality, and for one night only they will be sharing stories of the past and where they are now in their careers. Of course, team VG will be topping your glasses with delicious juice, throughout.
Please note, this is not a formal, sit down tasting. It will be a fun, casual tasting on our shop floor in walk-around style with decent pours! There are a few stools to perch on, of course and we'll have some nibbles in the way of charcuterie boards to keep your palate nice and awake!

No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
Tickets are non-refundable.
We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to the loos and our first floor tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
