Join us for a vinous adventure across Austria. Our tour guide for the evening is our very own John Khayser. Many will be familiar with John as our resident and patriotic Saffa, but the wines of Austria hold a certain place in John's heart, having spent some time amongst the vines himself.
There was a time where Austrian wines were shadowed with doubt. Fortunately, Austria underwent a complete wine restructuring after the infamous anti-freeze scandal of 1985, and has emerged as one of the top wine producing countries. We'll sample the classics from Grüner to Zweigelt, and explore some international varieties too.
This will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
Tickets are non-refundable.
We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
