Join us on the 10th May for a masterclass on the world's most widely planted grape variety. Hosted by our friend and resident MW, Nick Adams, this is one for true fanatics.
We'll discover if classic Claret is still the preference of us Brit's, or is Cali now King? Whilst you cannot deny the beauty of great Cabernet from Bordeaux (we will taste some, naturally), we love the soft character and food compatibility of more affordable examples from Australia or Chile, Argentina and Stellenbosch in South Africa. So, join us as we explore Cabernet in various forms, from the everyday to the very best.
If you're not instantly familiar with Nick's post-nominals, MW stands for 'Master of Wine', indicating that Nick is one of less than 500 MW's globally. His presenting style is fun and unfussy, and we can guarantee that you will leave a tasting having not only had a huge amount of fun, but having learnt a great deal. The perfect evening? We think so!

No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
Tickets are non-refundable.
We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
