Explore Riesling // Wednesday 5th February 2025 // Tasting Room
- In stock, ready to ship
- Backordered, shipping soon
We'd be lying if we said this isn't an excuse for us to open some amazing bottles. Riesling is, undoubtedly, the darling of aromatic white grapes so join us tonight as we open some stunners. We'll be exploring Riesling from across the globe, showcasing the incredible versatility of this grape—from dry, mineral-driven styles to luscious, age-worthy sweet expressions. Of course, we’ll include a few showstoppers from its spiritual home, Germany.
Hosted by Evelyn of team VG, this event will be fun and educational, perfect for wine enthusiasts of all experience levels. There will be a few nibbles in the form of legendary snack boards provided by Julie of Workhorse Bakery to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine. We guarantee a memorable evening of extraordinary Riesling and lively conversation—though we can’t promise we won’t get a little emotional over these exceptional bottles!

7pm - 9pm(ish)
Vino Gusto
27 Hatter Street
Bury St Edmunds
- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor bathroom and tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
