Join us this Valentine's Day for a truly indulgent evening... of cheese & wine, obviously. If your one true love is cheese (with wine coming in close second), this tasting is calling your name. Or if you fancy sharing your date night with us at VG, it’s the perfect evening for you. Rest assured, while there’s plenty of cheese, this evening is anything but cheesy!
Hosted by team VG and Nc Walker (a familiar face in town from his days as the indie cheesemonger until late 2022) who bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to our tasting. For tonight, we will guide you through an array of soft cheese, each paired with sparkling wines that compliment perfectly. You'll learn a bit, laugh a lot and enjoy an evening that's as romantic as it is delicious.

- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor bathroom and tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
