Vina Zorzal 'Sea of Dreams' White 2023

Introducing the white counterpart to our best-selling Sea of Dreams Garnacha. It may have big shoes to fill, but this delicious, textural white continues to do justice to this brilliant project. Think white Rioja meets the lofty vines of Navarra!

A blend of Garnacha Blanca and Viura, fermented and aged in concrete eggs to add layers of weight and texture. This is a whole lot of wine for the price. The nose is richly aromatic, with notes of almond, tarragon and lemon. On the palate, it has enticing notes of mandarin and baked pear, with an oily texture and a long, lingering finish. A stunning wine that holds its own with big, bold flavours and can pair well with meat and fish alike. 

Lying in the south of Navarra, Viña Zorzal is a project run by three brothers who inherited the estate from their parents. The family have a clear commitment and respect for their environment, and practice low intervention, environmentally-friendly viticulture: they don’t plough the vineyards, all processes are carried out manually, they use selected native plants for ground cover and fertilise with compost not chemicals/
