Classic Left Bank claret. Structured, vibrant, and just a touch brooding. There’s a lovely interplay of black cherry, graphite, and tobacco leaf over a core of firm, ripe tannins. Still youthful, but already showing its charm; ideal with roast duck or a proper steak frites, shared with someone who still loves old-school claret.

Chasse-Spleen is the undisputed star of Moulis, long admired for producing wines of class and longevity without the grand cru price tag. Under the Cuvelier family’s stewardship, the estate has stayed true to its Médoc roots while delivering remarkable consistency year after year.
