From 80 to 100 year old vines, this Grenache is explosive! 

Juicy, strawberry fruit with a bright and light body, Birichino was founded by Alex Krause and John Locke in Santa Cruz in 2008. The Estate's philosophy is focused on  minimal intervention winemaking, allowing the quality of their fruit to shine through. A touch of apassimento (where the grapes are dried to concentrate flavours) is used to boost the flavour of the wine.
