Plaimont 'Néomad' Madiran 2023

Modern Madiran. Ripe and fruity with intense aromas of blackberries and dried plums with liquorice, black pepper and a hint of cocoa in the background. On the palate, the attack is fresh, the tannins are very discreet and the mouthfeel is balanced. A powerful, hearty wine but with a velvety texture it is long and intense. This is absolutely a food wine and works very well with rustic grilled meat or earthy vegetarian dishes, classic of the region.
