Explore Riesling Case
Riesling is, undoubtedly, the darling of aromatic white grapes and quite possibly our favourite grape variety! In this case, you'll explore Riesling from across the globe, showcasing the incredible versatility of this grape—from dry, mineral-driven styles to luscious, age-worthy sweeter expressions.
Case includes a bottle of each of the following:
Dr Loosen Extra Dry Sparkling Riesling, Mosel Valley, Germany NV
We bloody love sparkling wine, and so do the German's. In fact, they drink more sparkling per capita than anywhere else in the world. Loaded with lime, peach, green apple and white blossom, but given that this is a more grown-up wine than, say, a Prosecco, the wine does feel rich, buttery and creamy.
Reichsrat Von Buhl 'Bone Dry' Riesling, Pfalz, Germany 2023
This is razor sharp with apples and pears. The palate is wonderfully mineral and a little round, making the wine very food friendly. Very moreish, very delicious.
Westcott Vineyards 'Butlers' Grant' Old Vine Riesling, Canada 2023
A wine filled with joie de vivre. Bright and zesty with juicy peach, preserved lemon, and ripe apricot. The palate is creamy and soft with a noticeable zing. It's dry, but certainly flirts with the idea of sugar with a subtle touch of honeyed sweetness.
Jeanneret Wines 'Big Fine Girl' Australia 2023
A very inviting pale yellow tinged with green: the 2022 Big Fine Girl is mouth-watering just to look at and it has a really generous and enormously appealing nose – there’s an absolute torrent of gorgeous ripe pear backed by lemon, lime and floral notes. And there’s some more exotic and tropical fruits too.
Donnhoff Riesling QbA, Germany 2021
From perhaps the most famous producer in the Nahe region of Germany, Donnhoff shines above the rest. This is an off-dry Riesling with crystal clear precision - lemon and lime tart with a pure, honey finish rounded out with mouth-watering acidity.
Allram Riesling Gaisberg Erste Lage, Austria 2021
Captivating, powerful and classical Riesling. Juicy peach and yellow stone fruit lead the attack, and the palate is fine, steel and mineral with a blood orange tartness. Powerful, yet elegant with a long fine finish. Schist and Gneiss! It is what gives distinction to GAISBERG and provides the 1er CRU vineyard with incomparable minerality. Year after year the site presents a complex Riesling with clear stone fruit aromas.
