This wine jumps out of the glass to hug you. Like a greeting from a friend you haven't seen in a while, it has so much to say... A vibrant and zesty white blend of Sauvignon Blanc (70%) and the adventurous, indigenous Bulgarian Dimyat (30%). Flavours of apple blossom, citrus and tarragon and fresh and juicy in the mouth. Lovely and refreshing with a crisp finish. A beautiful aperitif in the sunshine to convince your friends that there is more to life than New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

The first vineyards of Zagreus winery were planted in 1998 and currently they have 120 hectares of own vineyards, looking after them organically since 2010 and having got BIO certified in 2013. The winery’s strong belief is that what happens in the vineyard and in their consciousness determines the behaviour in the bottle. It’s about growing the best grapes under the best possible conditions as well as devoting their thoughts and intentions to making a wine that reflects the best their terroir and themselves as a team. It’s about being relentless in the pursuit of quality and trying their best to keep the nature clean.
