I'm a Burgundy lover, and if I had to put a pin in my favourite village, it'd be MSD, every time. There is something so elegant and ethereal about the wines of Morey, and this is a classic example. Sweet red berry fruit with dried figs, red currants and violets. This is concentrated, but it's not burly. Rather, delicate and vibrant with soft, fine tannins.
Vieilles Vignes means that the combined vine age is at least 50 years old. This gives a natural intensity and depth to the wines that makes them feel very grown up...
