Seriously impressive Chardonnay at this price point. Loaded with citrus, soft melon and some faint blossom notes. Lightly toasted brioche and vanilla pod from some well integrated oak, offset by marked acidity and salinity on the palate. Delicious.

The first plantings of Chardonnay at Paul Cluver date from 1987, just a year after the Cluver family established the vineyards at the De Rust farm, and in doing so becoming the first winery in Elgin.
