This wine is like hoping for a cheeky peck at the end of the night, but instead it slips you the tongue. It gives so much more than you expect of it. With warming prunes, mulberries and bright ripe cherries, the nose is luscious and sumptuous but has earthy, smokey tones with a little clove spice. The palate is velvety and creamy, laden with cherry and a touch of acidity to lift it up.
