"It’s the ubiquitous grape, loved and loathed in equal measure – and nowhere does it reach greater profundity than in Burgundy" - Jasper Morris MW
Hey Chardonnay lovers (and haters — we see you), it's time to put your preconceptions to the test. Inspired by Jasper Morris MW’s 50 Shades of Chardonnay, we’re diving deep into the world of this ever-versatile grape. From the steely, mineral-driven beauties of Chablis to the rich, buttery icons of Napa, we’ll be tasting it all. Think you know Chardonnay? Think again. This grape has more personalities than your ex, and we’re here to help you find your perfect match.
Hosted by our GM Evelyn, join us for an evening of swirling, sipping, and maybe even admitting that oak isn't the enemy. We’ll be pouring some absolute bangers from across the globe, proving that Chardonnay isn’t just one thing—it’s everything.
Book your spot now before the wine runs out (or before we have to listen to another person say they “don’t like Chardonnay”).
- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor bathroom and tasting room isn't overly forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. So sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
