Alsace is a region that often flies under the radar, but it delivers serious character. Sitting on the border with Germany, it’s where Riesling takes the lead and aromatic whites thrive.
Despite its cool climate, the region benefits from long hours of sunshine thanks to the shelter of the Vosges mountains which gives the perfect conditions for producing wines with freshness, precision, and texture. It’s a place with a rich history and a modern, quality-focused approach to winemaking.
Join John Khayser of Vino Gusto as you sample wines from some of the region’s standout producers, from crisp, mineral-driven Rieslings to rich, spicy Gewürztraminer and everything in between.
Whether you're new to Alsace or already a fan, this tasting is a chance to explore the region's diversity, depth and distinctive charm, one glass at a time.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
