Tonight, we're taking you on a whistle-stop tour of one of the most exciting wine continents out there. Think high-altitude vineyards, dramatic climates, and wines that massively overdeliver for the price. From crisp, mountain-fresh whites to deep, characterful reds, this tasting is all about flavour, balance and bottles that punch well above their weight.
Winemaking in South America started back in the 16th century, when Spanish settlers brought vines over to keep themselves (and the church) well supplied. For a long time, the wines stayed close to home, but things really kicked on in the late 20th century as winemakers upped the quality game. With phylloxera-free vineyards, dramatic landscapes and a fresh, modern approach in the cellar, South America went from quiet local producer to one of the world’s most exciting (and best-value) wine regions and we’re very glad it did.
Hosted by Henry of team VG, this will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
