Think you know French wine? Think again.
Tonight we’re leaving Bordeaux and Burgundy behind and heading for the regions of France that rarely get the headlines but absolutely deserve the glass time. Jura’s nutty charm, indigenous white grapes, Loire reds with actual personality, the wild streak of the Languedoc, maybe even a little Corsican if we’re feeling mischievous.
A tour of France’s most overlooked gems that are characterful, great value, and guaranteed to surprise even seasoned Francophiles.
Hosted by Evelyn of team VG, this will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
