Chianti Classico is steeped in history, but Castello di Meleto shows just how exciting it still is today. Based in the hills of Gaiole, Meleto combines centuries-old Tuscan roots with a fresh, thoughtful approach to Sangiovese, producing wines that are vibrant, savoury and beautifully balanced. These are proper Tuscan wines with personality, age-worthiness, and dangerously easy to love.
For this special Meet the Makers evening, we’re delighted to welcome the team from Meleto to Vino Gusto. They’ll guide us through a brilliant line-up from their Chianti Classico vineyards, sharing insight into the estate, the land, and the winemaking behind the bottles. Expect characterful Tuscan wines, plenty of personality, and the chance to hear the stories straight from the people who make them. Come taste, learn, and raise a glass with one of Chianti’s most authentic estates.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
