Forget Dry January. This is Try January.
We’re spending the evening revisiting the bottles that quietly stole our hearts in 2025. The ones that customers should have snapped up in droves but somehow flew under the radar. Expect a line-up of sleeper hits, staff favourites, and those “if you know, you know” wines that never got the attention they deserved on the shelves.
Think of it as a greatest-hits album… A tasting that’s a little indulgent, a touch educational, and packed with discoveries you’ll want to hunt down afterwards. Perfect for shaking off the post-Christmas palate fatigue and starting the year with something genuinely exciting.
A very good night to bring your most opinionated wine-drinking friend and an even better one to convert them.
Hosted by Henry of team VG, this will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

Tasting Room
7pm - 9pm (ish)
- Tickets cancelled up to 72 hours before the event are refundable to Vino Gusto store credit only. The credit sits on your customer account to be used against a future event or any products at Vino Gusto. Store credit can be used in store or online.
- Tickets cancelled within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable.
- Please arrive at 18:50 for a 19:00 start. The tastings usually last for around two hours.
- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
