Same grape. Very different accents.
This tasting is all about one of the world’s great shape-shifters: Syrah/Shiraz. Same DNA, wildly different taste. From the peppery, savoury, cool-climate styles of Europe to the bold, sun-soaked expressions of the New World, we’ll line them up and taste across the styles, regions and climates to see how place can completely change the story.
Hosted by John of team VG, who notoriously known for being the biggest Syrah/Shiraz fan. You're in good hands. Expect a classic VG style tasting, relaxed and informative. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
