Lamoreaux Landing 'T23' Cabernet Franc 2022

Elegant, smoky and fruity Cabernet Franc. Arguably the greatest grape in the world, though I'll admit to fuelling this tasting note by indulging in a more-than-sample-size serving of this phenomenally fragrant, fantastic red wine. It really is just my kind of wine. Light in body, but alive(!) with bright fruits such as blueberry, cranberry and pomegranate and a subtle pink peppercorn spice. Ultra pure and fresh with a real fruit intensity. Very dynamic wine, but really at home with fresh tomato based dishes, or with poultry. I adore it.

With 119 acres planted in the fertile soils to the east of Seneca Lake, Lamoreaux Landing has been family owned for three generations. The estate is made up of more than 20 different vineyard blocks to ensure optimum site selection for the production of high quality fruit. There is a very strong focus on sustainability and renewable energy with 100% of their electrical energy needs being delivered by solar power.
