Vinteloper make the most joyous, characterful wines in the whole of the cool, South Australia region. In their own words: "Fun on the outside, serious in the bottle". Their specialities include Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, but they also experiment with a fun mix of lesser spotted European varieties, with great success.
So join us for an evening of vinous delight with their UK agent - and friend of Vino Gusto - Robert Woodhead, and we'll taste through a selection of their terrific wines, in good company.
About Vinteloper:
Vinteloper was founded by David Bowley with a simple philosophy: make wines with personality that are serious in quality but never intimidating. Although based in the Adelaide Hills, the winery has built a strong reputation for producing expressive wines that reflect the unique character of each vineyard site. A thoughtful, hands-off approach in both the vineyard and winery allows the fruit to speak for itself, creating wines with precision, energy and a genuine sense of place. Organic and sustainable.
As always, cheese, charcuterie and plenty of wine chat included.

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
