Terrific value for Chenin of this quality. Perhaps because Anjou isn't terrifically sexy? At least, that's the reputation... This wine defies that heinous notion. Soft and finely textured with stoney minerals and a chalky feel. Vibrant fruits like pink lady apple, fleshy white pear and razor sharp citrus marry perfectly, leading to a long luxurious finish. This wine is not overt, glittering or in-your-face. Rather, it is quietly assured, classical and charming. The type of wine you might take when meeting the in-laws for the first time; a wine that demonstrates sophistication.

Run with passion and commitment by the Lamotte family since 1985, the exceptional vineyard is recognised and awarded. The meticulous work and commitment brought to each vintage allows them to subtly combine traditions, terroir and creativity.
