Lifted and fresh, with bright strawberry and cherry aromas leading the way, with notes of liquorice, sweet spice, and a subtle leafy edge, this is gorgeously raw and energetic, dying to be enjoyed alongside confit duck and lentil stew.

Ancre Hill Estates, nestled in the Wye Valley near Monmouth, is a pioneering force in Welsh wine, celebrated for its commitment to biodynamic and organic viticulture. Established in 2006 by Richard and Joy Morris, the estate spans 12 hectares of south-facing vineyards on ancient sandstone and mudstone soils. Certified biodynamic and organic since 2014, Ancre Hill employs holistic practices, eschewing chemicals in favor of natural preparations and aligning vineyard activities with lunar cycles.

The estate's sustainable ethos extends to its straw bale-constructed winery, featuring a living roof and eco-friendly wastewater systems. Ancre Hill's dedication to natural winemaking has earned it international recognition, positioning it as a benchmark for quality and sustainability in the UK's evolving wine landscape.
