Meet the Makers: Massaya Family Winery // Thursday 23rd October 2025 // Shop Floor

- Backordered, shipping soon
Lebanon has one of the oldest winemaking traditions in the world but Massaya is proof it’s also one of the most exciting today.
Founded in 1996 by brothers Sami and Ramzi Ghosn, with backing from serious French names (ex-Château Cheval Blanc and the Brunier family of Le Vieux Télégraphe), Massaya is iconic for modern Lebanese wine.
For this special evening, we’re thrilled to welcome Sami Ghosn himself to Vino Gusto. Sami will guide us through a brilliant line-up from Massaya’s vineyards in the historic Bekaa Valley and the cooler slopes of Mount Lebanon. Expect expressive, Mediterranean wines with elegance, spice, and plenty of character. AND the chance to hear the stories direct from the man behind the label.
Come taste, learn, and share a glass with one of Lebanon’s most exciting winemakers.

- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
