Lamoreaux Landing Dry Riesling 2022

Classically crisp, mineral and zesty. My favourable bias for dry Riesling may be telling here, but this is simply fantastic. The Finger Lakes in New York, USA have been said to be making outstanding Riesling for some time, but this is the first occasion I have been genuinely convinced. Green apple, peach, kaffir lime and just a tickle of honey exist on the nose and the palate is classically slate-y and mineral. Beautifully judged acidity gives this wine it's refreshing drinkability, but it's more than simply gluggable. Worth enjoying over a few hours and with some garlic prawns.

With 119 acres planted in the fertile soils to the east of Seneca Lake, Lamoreaux Landing has been family owned for three generations.
