- Backordered, shipping soon
Join us on Wednesday 24th of June for a special shop floor tasting with superstar winemaker from the Roussillon, Moritz Bak of Res Fortes.
Many of our customers will be familiar with Moritz's wines; especially rosé drinkers... Bringing his wine and a little southern French sunshine, Moritz will take us through his line up of modern, elegant wines from gnarly, rugged vines.
Inspired by childhood summers with his wine-loving grandfather in the South of France, Moritz Bak’s fascination with the world of wine began at an early age. Devoting himself to the study of wine and winemaking, Moritz has worked at some of the world’s greatest vineyards, and when he was ready, returned to the south of France armed with both knowledge and a vision. Having carefully selected and nurtured his vines, he produced his first vintage in 2014. Acclaim and awards soon followed.
Please note, this is not a formal, sit down tasting. It will be a fun, casual tasting on our shop floor in walk-around style with decent pours! There are a few stools to perch on, of course and we'll have some nibbles in the way of charcuterie boards to keep your palate nice and awake!

- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
