In Romania, in addition to commonly known grape varieties like Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, there are also many ancient indigenous grape varieties that have been cultivated for centuries. Among them, one of the most highly regarded is the Fetească Neagră variety. It is often considered the flagship black grape variety of Romania and is grown in a wide range of regions, from cool climates to warmer ones.

Viticola Sarica Niculițel is located in the oldest vineyard of Dobrogea, near the Danube Delta. We are proud of our valuable terroir where loess soil, sunny days and constant refreshing winds give a distinctive personality to our wines.
