Ask Rick what Pinot Haze reminds him of and he might smirk and mutter “a Pinot for the people with its head in the clouds but its feet in the vineyard.” This is no brooding, brocade Burgundy - it’s lithe, lifted and laced with fruit as delicate as silk and as dreamy as a festival at sunrise.

Unfined and unfiltered, this is Pinot Noir in its birthday suit — vibrant cherry, wild strawberry and a whisper of earthy spice glide across the palate with just enough edge to keep it interesting. There’s a faint savoury mist about it, like forest floor on a dewy morning, which gives way to an energetic, mineral finish. Light in body but not in personality.
