Weingut R&A Pfaffl 'The Dot Austrian Melon' Grauburgunder 2022

Yep - that's melon alright! If I had to be more specific, I'd say it's honeydew, but I'm only guessing really. There is much more going on too - a touch of banana, and a tickle of kaffir lime. A bright and invigorating wine with richness and depth. By all means drink it by itself, but to enhance the pleasure, take an afternoon off to gather the necessities and slave over a chicken, lemon & tarragon risotto. The reward will be worth it.
