Two neighbours, one shared mountain range, and wildly different personalities in the glass!
Germany and Austria are two cool-climate wine regions renowned for their world-class wines. Germany is celebrated for Riesling, alongside its ripe and rustic Pinot Noir, while Austria shines with its crisp Grüner Veltliner and elegant Blaufränkisch. We'll journey through Germany's somewhat mountainous countryside, exploring famed regions such as Mosel, Ahr, Pfalz, and Rheinhessen, as well as Austria's iconic vineyards in Wachau and Kamptal.
Hosted by John of team VG, this will be fun and educational. Suitable for all levels of drinking experience. There will be a few nibbles to enjoy along side the wines - we promise a good time and great wine.

- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
