About The Producer
Rosalía Molina farms Bodegas Altolandon's vineyards at around 1,100 metres in Manchuela, one of Spain's highest and most striking wine-growing areas. Working organically and with biodynamic practices, she uses native yeasts, clay amphorae and minimal intervention to produce wines that express the region's altitude, sunshine and cool nights.
Winemaking Information
A 50/50 blend of Garnacha Blanca and Garnacha Gris from approximately 15-year-old vines on limestone and stony soils. Hand-picked grapes ferment spontaneously on their skins in 1,000-litre clay amphorae. No sulphites are added, no oak is used, and the wine stabilises naturally in the cold winter temperatures.
