About The Producer
Cantine Povero is a family winery in Cisterna d'Asti, Piedmont, with roots stretching back to the nineteenth century. The estate farms vineyards across Roero, Monferrato and the Langhe and works with organic viticulture.
Winemaking Information
100% Barbera grown in the Barbera d'Asti denomination. The estate describes a dry, warm, harmonious wine with low tannins, balanced acidity and aromas of spice, liquorice and incense. Vintage-specific fermentation, ageing and ABV were not verified.
