Every time we pour this at a tasting, somebody ends up buying a bottle. Pecorino has gone from almost extinct, to one of Italy's most exciting white grapes in a short time. It has all the freshness you'd expect from a crisp Italian white, but with a little more texture and personality. Think juicy peach, lemon zest, fresh herbs and a lovely mineral finish that keeps everything bright and refreshing.

It's incredibly versatile with food but equally happy on its own on a warm evening. Try it with grilled prawns, seafood risotto, roast chicken, creamy burrata or fresh pesto pasta.

About The Producer
Founded in 1995, CasalFarneto sits in the heart of Marche, overlooking the hills of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. The estate is a great example of modern Italian winemaking, combining sustainable vineyard practices with innovative winery design—the cellar is built beneath a vineyard-planted roof, naturally regulating temperatures while blending seamlessly into the landscape. Although best known for Verdicchio, CasalFarneto has become one of Marche's leading producers, championing the region's indigenous grape varieties and proving they can produce wines of real class and exceptional value.
Winemaking Information
The fruit is grown in the rolling hills of Marche before being gently pressed and cold settled to preserve its delicate aromatics. Fermentation takes place over 15–18 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by around four months ageing in tank before bottling. With no oak influence, the emphasis is on showcasing Pecorino's naturally vibrant fruit, mineral character and refreshing acidity.
