About The Producer
CasalFarneto was founded in the heart of Marche with a simple ambition: to show just how great Verdicchio can be. Based near Serra de' Conti, the winery farms organically across some of the region's finest hillside vineyards, combining modern winemaking with a deep respect for Marche's native grape varieties. Today, CasalFarneto is regarded as one of the region's leading producers, crafting wines that consistently overdeliver on both quality and value while showcasing the freshness, elegance and longevity that make Verdicchio one of Italy's finest white grapes.
Winemaking Information
The fruit comes from CasalFarneto's own vineyards in the rolling hills of central Marche. After gentle pressing, the juice is protected from oxidation using a cold-soak technique before fermenting at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The wine then rests for around four months in tank, followed by at least two months in bottle before release. With no oak influence, the focus is entirely on preserving Verdicchio's vibrant citrus fruit, refreshing acidity and signature almond finish.
