Oh boy. This is a by the bottle banger. Brilliantly bright, fruity and fresh, loaded with flavours of cherry, raspberry and soft peppery spice. The palate is juicy and refreshing - especially from the fridge door. This slips down a little too easily. Don't over complicate the occasion. The bottle is the occasion. What bliss.

About The Producer
L'Envolée Sauvage is a modern collection of wines celebrating the relaxed, fruit-forward style of southern France. Produced in the Languedoc, the range focuses on expressive single varieties that showcase the region's Mediterranean climate and exceptional value. Rather than producing heavy, overworked wines, the emphasis is on freshness, balance and drinkability - bottles that are equally at home around the dinner table or enjoyed with friends on a sunny afternoon. Cinsault, one of the South of France's oldest grape varieties, is given centre stage here, proving it deserves far more attention than it often receives.
Winemaking Information
Sourced from vineyards in the sun-drenched Languedoc, the grapes are harvested during the cooler hours of the day to preserve freshness and delicate aromatics. Following gentle destemming, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with a short maceration to retain Cinsault's vibrant fruit, supple tannins and naturally bright character. No oak is used, allowing the variety's freshness and purity to shine through.
