About The Producer
The Robert Weil story began in Kiedrich in 1867, when Dr Robert Weil acquired vineyards on the slopes above this historic Rheingau village. More than 150 years later, the family name is synonymous with some of Germany's most celebrated Rieslings. Wilhelm Weil brought fresh ambition and investment to the estate from the late 1980s, championing meticulous vineyard work, ripe but carefully selected fruit and the remarkable range of wines possible from the Kiedricher Berg. The wider Robert Weil family range also works with carefully selected growers in neighbouring Rheinhessen, bringing this exacting approach to accessible, fruit-forward bottles. The result is Riesling defined by freshness, balance and precision, whether intended for immediate enjoyment or long ageing.
