Why You'll Love It
What a charming little wine at a brilliant price point. A cracking discovery from the sun-drenched shores of the Cotes de Thau (the swinging capital of Europe, apparently...), this rare Terret Blanc offers all the freshness of its neighbour, Picpoul, with a little more texture and character. Bursting with citrus, crisp orchard fruit and a hint of sea-spray minerality, it's bright, refreshing and dangerously easy to drink. A perfect partner for seafood, sunshine and good company.
About The Producer
Based on the shores of the Bassin de Thau, Les Costières de Pomerols has been championing the wines of the Mediterranean coast since 1932. Best known for its Picpoul de Pinet, the cooperative works with growers across the region to showcase local grape varieties and the influence of the nearby lagoon. The Tête-à-Tête range celebrates lesser-known southern French grapes, with this Terret Blanc offering a fresh take on one of the Languedoc's oldest indigenous varieties.
Winemaking Information
Harvested from vineyards overlooking the Étang de Thau, the grapes are gently pressed and cool-fermented to retain their bright citrus character. The wine is then aged on fine lees, adding subtle texture and weight to the palate while preserving the grape's naturally fresh, saline personality.
