The Wine People is a modern Italian wine company founded by Stefano Girelli, working with growers across Italy to produce wines that celebrate the country's regional grape varieties. Winemaking Information
The fruit is sourced from vineyards across Puglia, where long, sunny days allow Primitivo to reach full ripeness while retaining enough freshness to keep the wine balanced. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the variety's vibrant fruit character. No oak is used, allowing the ripe plum and blackberry flavours to remain front and centre. The result is a soft, generous red that's all about purity, drinkability and showcasing Primitivo at its most approachable.
